Founded in 1989, the
Pacific Coast Air Museum
is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the acquisition, restoration, safe operation and display of historic aircraft, preserving aviation history, and providing an educational venue for students and the community.

We also honor those heroic aviators who have contributed so much to the growth and defense of our way of life.

"One seldom finds such a collection of user-friendly aircraft amidst congenial hosts and lovely wine-country weather. Learn about the vast array of educational programs, scout activities and the opportunities for birthday parties and other gatherings. Bring your family - bring the kids from school - bring the scout troop. ...you´ll find it hard to leave."

Secretary of the Air Force

Join us for a recap of the Air Show and a presentation by guest speaker Robert Fischer.

We'll be talking about fun and important events coming up, developments at the Museum, and the recent Air Show. We'll also have an exciting guest speaker: author Robert Fischer.

Author Robert Fischer and his book titled The Return of Private Fischer

Our September 18 Guest Speaker will be local author and new member of the Pacific Coast Air Museum, Robert Fischer. On this 60th anniversary of the end of fighting on the Korean Peninsula, Bob will be talking about his novel set during the Korean War. His book centers on the love story of two young San Francisco residents caught up in a war after only five years of peace following WWII. He addresses the unanswered questions surrounding unaccounted for POWs/MIAs in this fictional account of what might have been.

"A powerful love story that is both triumph and tribute to a Marine whose capture during the Korean War compels his girlfriend to search for him throughout Siberia."
-- Chris Smith, Columnist, The Press Democrat
