End Of An Era
The DC-6/C-118 series of planes
(including the follow-on DC-7) were the last generation of
propeller driven transports before the jet age took over.
An incredible about of cargo and people have been moved around
our little planet by these wonderful airplanes. Many are
still being used today which is a testimony to their
practicality and reliability.
