Tiger at Air Show 2006

The Harrier is built for ease of maintenance and reliability, with mission sortie rates of 6 too 10 per day. When forward deployed in a forest (Hide) the Harrier can average 11.4 minutes from request to bombs-on-target and one and a half minutes for lift-off from alert. The Harrier is a formidable foe in aerial combat with the ability to Vector In Forward Flight (VIFF) to defeat every type of fighter it has faced.
