F-102? 106!.
The Convair program that was
originally begun in the early 50's called the F-102 was behind
schedule so the Air Force decided to procure a less
sophisticated interceptor which was titled the F-102A Delta
Dagger. The follow on program originally to be called the
F-102B was later changed to the F-106 Delta Dart. Ours is
an example of the F-106 series.
