Seen better days.
The F-106 Delta Dart was
trucked in (like most our aircraft) in pieces on a flat bed
trailer. Here it is after being reassembled. The
faded and chipped paint are a clue to its previous home where it
was exposed to the elements. Our crews go out in the
field, take the aircraft apart, load it on a truck, move it to
PCAM and reverse the whole process. That is a lot of work!
